Hello! I’m Beth.
I do graphic design, PR, writing, and marketing consulting.

I am a professional classical musician, artist manager specializing in classical composers, and I have an MBA in marketing and general management from Fordham Gabelli School of Business.

My design style is clean and refined, influenced by contemporary and modern art.

What makes my work special is that I have experience not only as a designer, but also as a creative director, marketing director, PR agent, audience member, copy editor, and with photographers.

I started in graphic design in the early 2000s, as half of the in-house graphics team at Southwest Strings creating print catalogs, magazine ads, and doing all the product photography for catalogs and e-commerce website.

I spent a year as a photographer’s assistant doing large-format architectural photography and extensive photoshop retouching. I have been the in-house graphic designer for many orchestras and ensembles, and was the Marketing and Promotions Director at Carl Fischer Music/Theodore Presser Company for five years, building and launching their first-ever e-commerce websites in 2014.

For six years I was a Creative Director at Sublime Designs Media doing Photoshop-heavy projects and Indesign layout of newsletters and field guides. My favorite project, by far, was a commission to Photoshop Salesforce CEO, Marc Benioff, onto an image from Dodgeball for client Appiro to be auditioned off at Dreamforce 2014.

From 2019-2022 I was a partner at Black Tea Music, a management agency representing classical composers, turning my focus in 2022 to the e-commerce Shop, which fosters the careers of living composers, offering them an alternative to the traditional publishing model. The Shop serves as an important tool for composers, offering an easily accessible and discoverable hub of their music to performers.

I have also been adjunct professor at New Jersey City University teaching music business and I give lectures and seminars on the business of music. I was honored in 2015 by Direct Marketing News as a 40 under 40 professional to watch.

Beginning in the fall of 2022, I take on the Director of Marketing role at the San Diego Symphony.
